Connecticut Beer Tours is a beer and spirit tour company providing safe, fun and reliable beer and spirit tours to the visitors and residents of CT (and parts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts). We also host events throughout the year and are available for private transportation per your request.
Once you’ve obtained a tour voucher or discount offer promo code, please visit our tour calendar to purchase a tour. This page can be found here. Choose a tour available to purchase and input the promo code prior to checking out. NOTE: You can only use one promo code at a time. Therefore, if you want to use two different codes, you will need to do two separate purchases in order to redeem.
All tour tickets include safe transportation to and from the breweries or distilleries, bottled water, snacks, beer education, an array of beer samples and food (when applicable).
As mentioned in the question above, there are many items included in the tours. What is not included is tips for the driver or brewery waitstaff, or any products you may like to purchase within the breweries themselves. On occasion the breweries do sell snacks or have food trucks on site, which are available for purchase at your leisure.
Our tours will run Thursday and Friday evenings, Saturday mid-day and evening, and Sunday mid-day.
We stock water and a few snacks on our public tours. Some tours include food, but you are always welcome to bring snacks with you as well. On occasion the breweries do sell snacks or have food trucks on site, which are available for purchase at your leisure.
It is common for someone on our tour to request dietary needs. All the restaurants and breweries we choose are very flexible and cater to practically all our requests. The only thing we ask you is to please let us know in advance.
Our weekday evening tours tend to be shorter in length approx 3.5 hours, which includes 2-3 brewery stops and our more popular tours during Saturday and Sunday are approx. 5-6 hours (some even include food).
No one under 21 will be allowed on our tours. We check ID’s prior to starting the tour. Even if you are 99, we are going to verify your age. Think of it as a compliment!
CT Beer Tours public group tours will range from $65-$125 per person. Private and custom tours will be determined based on number of passengers, duration of use and destinations.
We currently do not offer multi-ticket discounts. We do however often send discounts to our those who are apart of our email distribution list. Sign up for our email list here.
For anyone looking to not drink we do offer an additional $20 off the typical tour rate.
We plan to incorporate a referral program as well as offer many coupons and discounts for those who have been on a tour with Connecticut Beer Tours.
Most of the breweries and distilleries are wheelchair accessible, but our vehicles do not have wheelchair lifts.
Group tour ticket prices do not include gratuity for tap room staff, driver or tour guide. If you had a blast, we suggest $10-15 per person gratuity.
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets on our vehicles.
Each person will be asked to sign a Liability Release Form that states Connecticut Beer Tours, LLC are waived and not liable for any possible injury sustained at all during the entire tour and after you leave our tour. We will gladly call you an Uber of taxi to help you get home safe and sound.
Our tours often sell out. It is highly recommended you purchase a ticket ahead of time to ensure you have a seat.

If you are looking for a custom tour or want to book a private outing, we can accommodate groups from 13 and up. A few perks of private and custom tours is that gratuity and taxes are included in the pricing, you pickup your pickup time and location, and customize which breweries or stops you want to make. Connecticut Beer Tours accepts all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express through Paypal. You do not need to be a member of Paypal to submit payment. Although it is not recommend, we also accept walk up reservations and payment by cash or credit card, which is to be paid prior to the start of the tours.
If at any reason you have trouble booking or paying for a tour, please contact us. When purchased online, we request the tour to be paid in full and processed within 48 hours of submitting payment.
We aim to have a minimum of six (6) people per tour. If we do not reach the minimum requirement, we will notify you 48 hours prior to your tour and try to reschedule you to an alternate date and time.
Our public group tours are 13 people at max capacity. Custom and private tours can be arranged for any size group as long as we have enough lead time. Shoot us an email and we will see what we can do.
Since we live in New England anything is possible! In the event of severe weather or less than six (6) people registered for a tour, the tours may be canceled. Should either of these take place, you will be refunded in full or rescheduled to a new tour date and time.
We understand that things can come up in our lives that are beyond our control. With that being said, we offer a 100% cancellation (minus 10% processing fee) within 2 weeks of our public group tours. Private and custom tours must be paid in full two weeks prior to departure. If you choose to cancel before the two week marker, a loss of deposit (if applicable) will apply. No Refunds are available less than two weeks prior to tour date.
When you attend a tour, it is always a good idea to bring your printed ticket or receipt.

Once you’ve purchased a gift voucher, you will receive a printed copy in the mail with 5-7 business days. The bottom right hand side of the voucher will have a promo code. Choose a tour available to purchase on our calendar and redeem using the promo code. NOTE: You can only use one promo code at a time. Depending on what Connecticut Beer Tour you sign up for will determine your pick-up time. We email you 2-days prior to confirm pick-up time and location. We highly encourage you to be at the pick up location 10-15 minutes prior to pick-up time. Once we sign everyone in, we are ready to hit the road running and will leave stragglers behind. We are on a strict timeline, so timeliness is important.
For group tours we have designated pick-up and drop off points, which will be listed on our tours page. For private or custom tours we can pick-up and drop off almost anywhere in Connecticut. Custom or private tours can request multiple pick-up and drop off locations, which will be configured into the cost of your trip.
Pick-up and drop off locations are are outlined on each of our tour descriptions. Note: Pick-Up time is the time we leave. Please arrive 10-15 minutes earlier.
On rare occasions, if seats are available, you can absolutely book the morning of a group tour! Our website will indicate if their are tickets still available. Also, keep a watchful eye on our social media accounts, where we post last minute specials.
We strongly suggest you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to tour departure. Prior to leaving, if you have provided us a cell phone number we will try to call you a few minutes before we leave. Because we are on a strict time schedule, we simply cannot leave any later then the pick-up time listed for each tour.
Unfortunately, since our group tours have one designated pick-up and drop-off, we do not allow guests to meet us partway through our tours. It becomes a liability on our end and it would not be fair for our other passengers. Our mission is to make our tours as fun and memorable as possible.
Our most popular tours on Saturday and Sunday start early. We recommend having a good breakfast prior to the tour so you’re not drinking on an empty stomach.
We don’t have a dress code, however most of the breweries have a no open toe shoe or sandal policy inside their facilities. And of course, our awesome t-shirts available for purchase is always recommended!
We thrive ourselves on providing fun, reliable, and safe beer tours. If a person is visibly intoxicated before the tour begins, we have to right to deny your entrance onto the tour. During the tour, if a customer disobeys, disrespects, causes any physical or emotional harm to any property, staff, or the group as a whole, their entire group will be removed from the tour. If either of these situations occur, no refund will be provided.
The goal of Connecticut Beer Tours is give you safe transportation to local breweries where you can taste a variety of sample beers that the state has to offer. We are generous with our beer samples and you may get tipsy along the way. With that being said, we are going to ensure nobody gets out of control or overly intoxicated and ensure that everyone gets back to the drop off location safely and responsibly.
Our transportation vehicles have a no-smoking policy.
Most of our vehicles are equipped with bluetooth or auxiliary cord capability. We try to accommodate everyone on the tour as best we can.
Taste something you like? Most of the breweries in Connecticut give you the opportunity to buy beer, clothing, glassware and other memorabilia after the tasting. We have limited storage available.
All of our drivers have special endorsements and DOT training, which allows for continuous safety and maintenance of our vehicles.
Connecticut Beer Tours staff undergo per-employment drug tests and are randomly drug tested throughout the year. All our drivers carry commercial licenses with passenger endorsement.
